Class matters and resources

Greetings parent(s)/ guardian(s) of 5G!

I would like to welcome your child/ward to 5G class. I am Ms Sarina Amin, form teacher and English teacher of 5G.  I will be giving out the introduction letter today to your child/ward. Alternatively, you may download the soft copy here. The letter indicates subject teachers’ contact details and general school matters for you to take note.

It was a good start for the first day of school. It was enlightening to see 5G being cooperative and caring towards their P1 buddies as they helped them to familiarize with the school. Below are photos of 5G as they display a word or phrases to reflect what they have learned  in NYPS.

As school resumes, lessons will begin this Thursday; thus pupils will need to bring the following resources for use on specified days.

English, 5 - 6 Jan:

1.      Learning Journal

Science, 5 - 6 Jan:

1.      Science textbooks (cycles)

2.      Science green file (slim ring file)
3.   Exercise book for Science Journal

Subsequently, pupils will need to be ready with the other resources by next Wednesday, 11 January.

English:

1.      Spelling (new, school exercise book)

2.      Grammar (new, school exercise book)

3.      School foolscap paper for composition

4.      3-inch ring file for worksheets (NYPS file)

5.      Writing file (red flat file with dividers)

6.      Situational writing made easy

7.      Companion booklets
